OGP eInvoicing Framework agreement available

Friday 29 March 2019; The Office of Government Procurement’s (OGP’s) eInvoicing Framework was made available to all public sector bodies through the Buyer Zone at www.ogp.gov.ie on Monday 25 March 2019. Preparations for reaching compliance with the European Directive 2014/55/EU on eInvoicing are now underway in earnest with public bodies already starting to access the Framework to drawdown the solutions and services for eInvoicing implementation by 18 April 2019.


The Framework offers compliant eInvoicing services and solutions for shared services and co-ordinating facilities as well as individual public bodies, to receive and process eInvoices in accordance with the European Standard and the national approach to implementing the eInvoicing Directive. The services and solutions range from online portals that facilitate basic compliance to more integrated straight-through-processing options. Information materials have been developed to support public bodies in understanding the Framework and the obligations under the Directive, these materials are available as part of the Framework documentation accessible from www.ogp.gov.ie


eInvoicing Ireland will be joining the OGP Information stand next week at Procurex at the RDS, Dublin, to provide information on the eInvoicing Directive, the national approach to eInvoicing in Ireland and the Framework. There will also be an opportunity for those who haven’t heard their eInvoicing presentation to catch it at the Best Practice in Procurement Zone at Procurex on Thursday 4 April 2019.

OGP clients’ must register to gain access to the Buyer zone available to all public service buyers accessing live contracts/frameworks.


CEF Telecom Call 

To support member states new to eInvoicing such as Ireland, CEF Digital have issued a CEF Telecom Call (CEF-TC-2019-1) on eInvoicing for funding. The closing date for entries is 14 May 2019.
