The interim Public Sector Procurement Board

Pending the introduction of enabling legislation for the establishment of the OGP on an independent and statutory basis, an interim Public Sector Procurement Board has been put in place.

Chaired by Minister of State, Eoghan Murphy TD, the Board operates in an advisory and oversight capacity in relation to public procurement policy and strategy. Membership of the Board is as follows:

• Mr Eoghan Murphy T.D. (Chair) Minister of State at the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform with special responsibility for Financial Services, eGovernment and Public Procurement

• Mr John McCarthy, Secretary General, Department of Environment, Community and Local Government

• Mr Jim Breslin, Secretary General of the Department of Health

• Ms Niamh O’Donoghue, Secretary General, Department of Social Protection

• Ms Eileen Creedon, Chief State Solicitor

• Mr Paul Quinn, Chief Procurement Officer, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform

• Mr Martin Sisk, External Board Member
